PSP galore at Jump Festa 2009

For the rest of us who couldn’t make it to the 2009 Jump Festa, here’s a little taste of what went on during the event. Check out the PSP games for Capcom, SCEJ, Koei, and Square Enix with their infamous Closed Mega Theater.

Excited fans and gamers got a little taste of upcoming games thanks to the booths provided by various publishers. For SCEJ, it’s LocoRoco 2, and Patapon 2. They even provided kiosks for Bleach: Soul Carnival and Bleach: Heat The Soul 5 as well.

Capcom isn’t about to let up on keeping the hype going for Sengoku Basara Battle Heroes at Jump Festa. with all those PSPs giving the Basara experience to those who got hold of a station.

For Square Enix, while lucky attendees got to watch the new Final Fantasy XIII trailer at the Closed Mega Theater, the others contented themselves with playing Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep in the kiosks outside the theater. Apparently, that’s not Roxas in the picture.

More lucky folks got comfy with Koei and played Shin Sangoku Musou: Multi Raid, and it’s very likely they all got to try out the multiplayer action on that game.

Well the PSP certainly got loads of air time at Jump Festa. Maybe we’re looking at better days for the Sony handheld? Hopefully. With rumors of a PSP 4000 coming not long after the 3000, it’s definitely a big morale boost for PSP fans.
