PSP Hacking 101 – Episode 16
Episode 16 of the multimedia release for PSP power users known as PSP Hacking 101 is currently available. This episode contains in depth information about the Devhook sample launcher, among other PSP hacking subjects. The new launcher makes full 2.5 emulation available for 1.5 users.
While the release comes too late for me personally (I bought a second PSP for updating when I bought GTA long ago) this new application will make many, many PSP users very happy.
Those who were patient and had faith that a solution would eventually be found will now be rewarded with more versatility for their 1.5 PSP. 1.5 owners will finally gain full use of all the newer firmware features (currently up to 2.5) while maintaining full compatibility with 1.5 homebrew. Freedom at long last!
Also featured prominently within episode 16 is news about the ubiquitous Undiluted Platinum modchip that is right on the horizon. During episode 17 the hosts of PSP Hacking 101 plan to perform a UP modchip installation on camera and present the results to viewers, good or bad!
