Homebrew coder Total_Noob has dropped by our forums to release a new version of DayViewer, a handy homebrew plugin that displays some important info on your PSP’s XMB like the day of the week, battery percentage, month name and the year. The latest update of the brew has added some more nifty features like battery lifetime and clock string edit.

Changelog:

  • Now you have the full possibility to edit the clock string to your desire.
  • Added battery lifetime.
  • Fixed incompatibility with AutoStart PRX.
  • Solved bug in unicode encoding: some character didn’t show correctly.

Instructions:

  • Copy the ‘seplugins’ folder to your Memory Stick and add this line to ‘vsh.txt’: ‘ms0:/seplugins/dayviewer.prx 1’ (without the ‘).
  • Now, take a look in ‘dayviewer_config.txt’.
  • Reboot your psp and enjoy.

For more info about the release, please check the README provided in the download.

Thanks Sonamta for the tip!
