Developer’s note:
What happens when you cross MapleStory and Castlevania, then make a beat em up out of it? Well… this! This was sort of an idea that put itself together over time. I love Castlevania games and always wanted to do something in BOR about it. I love Maplestory’s sprites and always wanted to do something in BOR about it. It wasn’t until one day that a friend of mine showed me a screenshot of MapleStory, one of the players was holding a whip as a weapon. It was then that the lightbulb in my head turned on, and Maplevania was born (thanks Rob)! It originally started out as a joke/parody mod, but as development went by I took it more seriously, and in my opinion it turned out pretty well!
