If you’re one of the many who loved PSP homebrew developer Joao Bastos‘ 3D Chess game for the Sony PlayStation Portable, Xadrez, then you’re in for a treat. The latest version, 1.0 is now out and ready to be played, with a neat new feature that lets you play head-to-head via Ad Hoc support. Yes, you read that right – multiplayer Xadrez. Awesome.
What’s new with this update, then? Well, besides being Joao Bastos’ official entry into the Homebrew Idol contest, Xadrez version 1.0 also yields an adjustable camera perspective that lets you view the action from all the angles. Handy for making sure that your ingenious battle plan won’t be foiled by a piece hiding behind another piece, eh? There’s also the deal with some pesky bugs being squashed from the code.
