Today we once again have a new jpcsp release, only this time it looks like we finally get an official release instead of the unofficial builds we’ve posted about so far. With this release, the team behind the Java-based jpcsp PSP emulator has made further inroads into commercial game emulation. More details after the jump.

With this release, the team behind the Java-based jpcsp PSP emulator has made further inroads into commercial game emulation. Here’s what team member shadow had to say:
Today we celebrate jpcsp 5 months old (yes only 5 months) with a new release.
Some games are playable in this release , many showing some screens , and others of course doesn’t do anything at all.
There is also a recompiler included that is still beta but give some nicely results.
