PSP homebrew – libupnp 1.6.6 port for PSP
A homebrew coder by the name of Rex_VF5 has started work on porting libupnp 1.6.6 to the Sony PlayStation Portable. This is a portable SDK for Universal Plug and Play devices that should make setting up a home network way simpler. It’s still a work in progress, though, and Rex_VF5 is looking for those who want to help him get this port up and running.

According to Rex_VF5, the main thrust of this project is to bring a UPnP client to the PSP that emulates the PS3’s look and feel. In the coder’s own words, it’ll be “integrated into XMB creating a virtual drive holding all the UPnP servers & available media.”
It’s still a work in progress, and Rex_VF5 is looking for those who want to help him get this port up and running. Those interested in helping the coder can download what’s been done so far below. You can also find out more about this project by clicking on the Source link.
