PSP homebrew – PSPBTCNF Tool

PSP homebrew dev manatails007 has released a new PSPBTCNF editor called, appropriately enough, PSPBTCNF Tool. This tool allows you to extract, edit, build, and flash the pspbtjnf.bin, pspbtknf.bin, and pspbtlnf.bin files on your PSP, allowing you to load plugins straight from flash0.

PSP homebrew dev manatails007 has released a new PSPBTCNF editor called, appropriately enough, PSPBTCNF Tool. This tool allows you to extract, edit, build, and flash the pspbtjnf.bin, pspbtknf.bin, and pspbtlnf.bin files on your PSP, allowing you to load plugins straight from flash0. Here's how to use it:

• Press X to extract BIN files to ms.
• it will be saved as text format. now you can edit it with your text editor
• text files will be created at root directory of your memory stick
• Press TRIANGLE to build BIN files
• convert your modified text files to BIN format
• Press SQUARE to flash BIN files
• it flashes your new edited BIN files to flash0.

Remember to build the BIN files first before flashing them or you'll end up with a bricked PSP. Also, this release doesn't have PSP Slim support. Manatails007 says he'll release a newer version that does. If you have any queries or suggestions, hit the dev up on the QJ.NET PSP Development forum.
