PSP Homebrew – Team Fortress v1.3 Quake PSP mod
That old-school FPS classic, Team Fortress, is now available for the PSP. “About time,” is all I can say. Thanks to CyberDemon5150 for this.

Mind you, it still has a few kinks. Not all the maps work yet and player skins don’t show up in ad hoc play. Bot skins will all have just one color rather than proper red/blue team colors. But hey, it’s Team Fortress so: *thumbs up*
CyberDemon mentions a workaround for the player skin bug to avoid confusion. Each player should go into the console, open the On Screen Keyboard with Square, type in ‘Name [custom name here]’ with the directional buttons and Cross/X, and then press Square and Cross. That way, everyone will have a different name than ‘Quake Guy,’ and confusion won’t run as rampant. But then, confusion is always abundant on the battlefield.
Version 1.3 had the original .pak files removed, since heavy developmental period is over and users must supply their own .pak files
To run TF, you’ll need the PSP Quake game. Copy the contents of the Quake 1D1 folder into the Team Fortress 1D1 folder inside the archive and you should be good to go.
Note: Although the download file is labeled v1.2, it’s actually already updated to v1.3 so, just ignore that.
