PSP Minis games pricier than App Store counterparts

Have you picked up your PSP Gos yet? Been checking out the PSP Minis game selections? If yes, then you probably have noticed that the game prices are double that of their iPhone App Store counterparts.
If you have not noticed that, then now you know. MTV Multiplayer reports that the first batch of Minis range from US$ 4.99 to US$ 9.99. Those in the US$ 4.99 bracket would be Alien Havoc, Brainpipe and Sudoku. Meanwhile, Funky Punch, Hero of Sparta and Fieldrunners are tagged with a US$ 6.99 price. On the upper end would be Tetris, selling for US$ 9.99.
The App Store version of these games, however, only demand from US$ 1.99 to 4.99 from your wallets. With the PSP Go in full swing out in the free world, the reality of its high price points come crashing down. The real question then becomes: is it worth it to shell out so much for a hardware offering functionalities you can already get from the original PSP models, and at a much cheaper price too?
