PSP, PS2 owners can duel through Yu-Gi-Oh! GX games
Have you ever wanted to show the supremacy of your card battling skills against another Yu-Gi-Oh! player, only to realize that you’re playing two different video games and can’t battle against one another? Well, have we got some info for you!
There’s a nifty new feature in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny that will allow it to play battles against PSP owners who own a copy of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2. Interested in knowing more? Read on!
You can safely say that compatibility is one of the main problems behind Yu-Gi-Oh! video games. Since there are many different versions of the games, you can’t exactly play against another person who owns a different game from what you have.
That is, until the advent of the PS2 game, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny.
According to a press release from Konami, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny actually has the ability to allow a PS2 gamer and a PSP gamer to connect online and play against one another. While the PS2 gamer uses Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny, the PSP gamer can connect with him using Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2.
We certainly hope it isn’t the last we hear of such features. It’d certainly be interesting to see other games following suit, allowing PS3 and PSP gamers to battle each other using their respective platforms.
