PSPBEEB: BBC Micro Emulator updated to v1.0.7

PSPBEEB v1.0.7

The last time Zx-81 released PSPBEEB, he was kind of hoping it’ll be the final release for this BBC emulator. But we guess there’s a lot of us that hoped he’ll revive the project; thus our collective prayers lead to v1.0.7. Hopefully, there’ll be more versions to come. Here’s the changelog:

  • Multiple keyboard mapping feature developed by Pou-chan:
  • You can now toggle between 3 different keyboard mapping (using for example LTrigger and RTrigger keys)
  • Bug fix in the keyboard skin chooser (that made the emu crashed)
  • Add new keyboard files from Bah and Pou-Chan

A very articulate Read Me file will take you through the history of  this very famous emulator as well the whole of the installation process. Installation:

  • Unzip the zip file, and copy the content of the directory fw2.x or fw1.5 (depending of the version of your firmware) on the psp/game directory.
  • Put your disk image files on “discs” sub-directory.
  • It has been developed on linux for Firmware 1.5, and 2.1+ using DevHook and the two great GTA eloaders (0.97 and 0.98) from.
