PspEncyclopedia v0.1
gunntims0103 has been working on turning the PSP into a pocket (well, vest pocket) database. Of course, released in DCEmu at v0.1, PspEncyclopedia isn’t exactly an encyclopedia yet. Not with twelve assorted categories (see below for what they are) so far plugged into this thing’s file library. At the least even at first build it is workable, slightly unwieldy, and it does put the world of offline information in that vest pocket of yours.
On the other hand, if he’s going to thank Wikipedia for “providing a lot of information,” he also better be prepared for revisions every three months, or per vandalized page or neutrality dispute, whichever comes first. Especially with gunntims0103 planning on dropping 40 more assorted categories for the next couple of builds. Anyway, what’s in this encyclopedia (Sora not included):
- American History
- Lua coding
- C/C++ coding
- Japanese History
- Evolution Theory
- Christianity
- Buddhism
- Hinduism
- Islam
- Judaism
- European History (just a bit)
- Big Bang Theory
Teachers will still frown on students bringing their PSPs out “to consult the encyclopedia” though. Next thing you know, Encyclopedia Britannica comes out in UMD format…
