Following up on our report yesterday on the Music prx plugin, here's another treat for 3.90 CFW-supporting Sony PlayStation Portable (and for 3.80 CFW users too). Homebrew developer zx-81 has released PSPIRC version 1.1.5. If you haven't been taking note of the previous builds, the homebrew is a basic internet relay chat (IRC) client for your PSP.
That's right - you can have real-time online correspondence with PSPIRC version 1.1.5. Now if you were wondering how you could chat, PSP IRC version 1.1.5 comes with IR keyboard support. Here are the latest changes straight from dev zx-81:
- Fix IR keyboard issue with fw >= 3.80 for FAT PSP
- It has been tested [successfully] tested on:
- SLIM 3.90-m33 (thanks to Greg from psp-hacks)
- FAT 3.90-m33
- FAT 1.5 (addon for 3.90-m33)
