We’ve got some news that ought to be of interest to the virtual machine users out there in PSP land. Thanks to a tip from Bastion, we’ve recently learned that sleepper, the maker of PSPKVM, and M@x, the maker of pspME, have decided to join forces to make better virtual machines for the PSP.
Here’s the announcement straight from sleepper’s site:
After a fully discussion today with M@x, the author of pspME, the two projects, PSPKVM and pspME, will be merged, and keep the name as PSPKVM. After a quickly release with sound support in the next days, PSPKVM will discard some old code to base on phoneME feature. We will try to offering a better JavaME VM on PSP.
Certainly some good news to brighten up the day of PSP-based virtual machine users. An upcoming release imminent and a team-up! Hopefully this will lead to better things for the PSP in the near future.
