PSPLock v2
For those of you who want some privacy on your PlayStation Portable, here’s a bit of a treat from homebrew developer, Auraomega. The dev dropped by QJ’s PSP Forums to release PSPLock version 2.
If you weren’t able to catch the first release a couple of days ago, here’s a bit of a primer on the PSP application. In case you’ve been having a problem with the other people messing up your PSP, PSPLock will prove to be very nifty for you since, as the name suggests, it locks them out. Basically, you need to install PSPLock, and when you don’t want anybody else to use it, just take your memstick with you. Pretty useful in case your PSP gets stolen, huh?
Here’s the changelog:
- Added config file (optional)
- Allowed text to be output on screen (optional)
- Allowed manual input (optional)
- Can be disabled
- Removed a nasty bug that stopped it working for a couple of people
And good news for those who were asking if the app works for FW 3.40 OE-A, as it does (Auraomega has upgraded). Anyway, before you go ahead and try out PSPLock, we strongly advise that you check out the ReadMe file which contains an extensive changelog, installation instructions, and planned changes. Enjoy!
