PSPlockpick Alpha - Image 1While Oblivion‘s arrival on the PSP is still in a state of limbo, it appears that the game’s already left its mark on members of the handheld’s homebrew community.

We’re letting you guys know that Miclow passed by the QJ.NET Forums to release a new homebrew game, titled PSPlockpick Alpha. As its name implies, this game is a clone of the lockpick mini-game you’ll probably remember trying out in Oblivion.

We’ll post the controls here, given that there’s no readme included with the file bundle:

  • LEFT and RIGHT move the lockpick
  • UP starts the picking
  • X sets the picking
  • The idea is to press X when the locking mechanism is at the top to set the mechanism. If you press it too late it will not set. If you press it way too late then all the mechanisms will reset.

We remind that readers that this is still an Alpha build, and will contain bugs. Those interested in knowing more about this game, or would like to help Miclow with the improvements, can visit the PSPlockpick release thread at the QJ.NET PSP Development Forum.
