PSPM05 v1.0.3: Thomson MO5 emulator now full speed
Sony Playstation Portable homebrew developer Zx-81 is back with PSPM05 version 1.0.3, a Thomson M05 emulator. The past build was dubbed as the final version but some issues had to be addressed in this latest version. More details after the jump.

Some of the younger readers may not be familiar with the Thomson MO5 computer, but old-school fans sure do. Thanks to homebrew developer Zx-81‘s PSPMO5 emulator (now on version 1.0.3), you can now experience this 6809-based computer through your Sony Playstation Portable. PSPMO5 is based on an existing MO5 emulator made by Daniel Coulum.
Although coder zx-81 has already tagged the previous release as the final version of this emulator, some issues had to be addressed. PSPMO5 version 1.0.3 is now running on full speed, among other revisions
Here is the complete changelog straight from Zx-81:
- Major speed improvements, now full speed with 50 fps even at 133Mhz !
- Bug fix in file requester
- Adjust the different render modes
PSPMO5 is available for both 3.x and 1.5 firmwares. For techies, the source code is also accessible. Be sure to check the readme for all instructions on its use.
