PSPx interviews Team M33

 

We know them as Team M33. You know them as the group that’s continuing the work of Dark AleX and bringing out new custom firmwares for people to use. How about getting to know them a little better outside of the world of firmware?

We picked up word that the PSPx forums managed to score an interview with some of the members of Team M33. In their interview, they note the origins of the different members, from university students to folks working at software firms. The interview also notes that they’re really doing all of this coding work to continue the legacy of Dark_AleX, and that CFW should live on even if Dark_AleX is no longer coding.

On the quotable quotes side, Team M33 also had something rather interesting to say about what the “ideal” firmware would be. According to them, the ideal firmware should actually come from Sony. It’s the firmware that Sony would actually put up that allows people to play homebrew without the need for custom firmware from outside sources.
