We’re not entirely sure about the legality of this so we’re not going to host the file. However, we will pass on the news. Dark_AleX’s PsxDecrypter, an application that decrypts/decompresses ISOs of the PlayStation Store, has been released.

Those that decry this application say that it is illegal because it breaks Sony‘s protection. Those that defend it say that it is still legal as it doesn’t include Sony‘s code. Similar to cracking a cellphone, it should be legit as protected files aren’t included in the application.
