Pure director says color in Xbox 360, PS3 versions “only as different as a good LCD TV is from a Plasma”
The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Pure (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) will only be “as different as a good LCD TV is from a Plasma”. That’s what Pure director Jason Avent told gaming website videogaming247. More from Avent after the jump.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Black Rock and Disney‘s Pure (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) will only be “as different as a good LCD TV is from a Plasma”. That’s what Pure director Jason Avent told gaming website videogaming247.
“Their final render hardware seems to produce slightly different results in terms of how colours are represented and one is often softer than the other but it’s really only as different as a good LCD TV is from a Plasma,” said Avent.
What he didn’t say though was which one had the softer colors. In that vein, which is the good LCD TV and which is the Plasma? Well, we’ll all just have to wait until Pure hits retail on September 23. The demo’s already out for both PS3 and Xbox 360.
