A wave of disappointment might ripple across the Halo 3 fan base as Bungie announces that Purple reign won’t make it to the game’s Spring DLC offering. The map, the devs say, just isn’t ready yet. However, Bungie does have a contingency plan ready and we’ll be getting something else to make up for the delay. Find out what in the full article.
Halo 3 fans waiting for Bungie’s Spring DLC offering may be surprised to know that there’s been a bit of a change in plans. The Purple Reign pack has been delayed, but it’ll be replaced with the Moonlight Sonata pack.
This was posted earlier in the official Bungie site. The reason, the devs say, is that Purple Reign just isn’t ready yet. The DLC probably needs more polishing and we should understand Bungie’s desire to keep quality at optimum levels all the time.
Besides, Moonlight Sonata has overtaken it for a nice substitution, so we’ll be having something to chew on while waiting for Purple Reign. Details have been promised for Moonlight Sonata, so stay with us for more soon.
