Putting Cards to Life with Eye of Judgment

For some time, we’ve already been used to playing card games with the traditional card and the lovely art and flavor text at the front . However, with Eye of Judgment, the characters in your hand battle it out as you place them in a 3 by 3 battlefield. This game is essentially a trading card game wherein you set your cards down and match it with your opponents. A ‘camera’ of sorts will read your card in play and bring that card to life.

As you can see from the screens, it’s more than just the images popping out of the cards. They really come out alive and fight with your opponent. The images are stunning and to see this graphic quality at work in the PS3, well, it’s most definitely fun. The objective of the game is to capture 5 out of the 9 squares in the game.  There will be 30 cards for you to choose from and this will support online play. I do wonder if they could come up with something like this for Magic.
