PuzzleManiak v3.0 Beta 4

Nintendo DS homebrew developer Alex has released version 3 of the PuzzleManiak puzzle game collection partially ported from Simon Tatham’s Portable Puzzle Collection. Puzzlemania version 3.0 Beta 4 has a new added feature and a very handy bug fix to make the overall experience much more pleasant. The new feature should add a bigger challenge than ever for portable puzzle gamers to rack their brains over while they’re on the go.

PuzzleManiak version 3.0 Beta 4 has a new added feature and a very handy bug fix to make the overall experience much more pleasant. The new feature should add a bigger challenge than ever for portable puzzle gamers to rack their brains over while they’re on the go.

Alex writes:

As a new feature, for this beta 4, you can play (and play) (and play again) (and play again again) the past daily challenge puzzles. For that, go to “hi scores” and then to “daily challenge ranking.” On the score pages, a “PLAY” button is available, you can try it.

“I fixed a bug concerning the ‘Undo’ button, which is not accessible anymore when a game is over,” adds Alex as the dev thanked gh0st for tipping him off on this software issue.

Lastly, Alex challenges everyone to try and go for high scores which can challenge those of PuzzleManiak users Kimi and Johnathan’s. He shares that he couldn’t beat their best performances and he’s looking for people who can raise the bar higher.
