PvP’s Ghetto-Rigged Air-Cooling Controller Add-On for the PSP

PvP's Ghetto-Rigged Air-Cooling Controller Add-On - Image 1PvP is at it again. He’s informed us that preliminary work is done on his Ghetto-Rigged Air-Cooling Controller Add-On for the Sony PlayStation Portable handheld system.

This much-hyphenated PSP mod was created using a USB-powered PC controller that cools a user’s hands. For power, PvP says he just plugs the controller into the PSP’s USB port and runs iRShell to enable the USB port. Here’s what’s been done to the controller:

  • took a usb pc controller that cools your hands and disassembled it
  • took the shell and cut it to fit the psp
  • took the 5v fan and glued it into the middle
  • wire the fan to a male usb

This should work nicely with PvP’s FPS PSP mod, seeing as the controller can be used as a base for the semi-floating analog sticks in that particular mod. Like we said, this is just preliminary work. A lot of cosmetic work has yet to be done to the mod. For more images, click on the Read link below.
