PxP sponsors new Homebrew Competition

PxP Homebrew Competition

Our good man PSPJunkie_ at the QJ forums has just announced a homebrew competition that they’re hosting. It’s the PxP Homebrew Competition and they’re going to be accepting entries starting Wednesday, January 17.

The contest will only be open to U.S. residents and the grand-prize winner will bag a Neuros MPEG Video Recorder 2. And if they can find more sponsors to fund the prizes, the 2nd- and 3rd-placers will win US$ 50 and US$ 25, respectively.

As for the rules, you have to remember that above all, your entry must be completely original (no updates!). Emulators aren’t allowed, and any Lua game must have its own eboot. You’ll have to make sure your entry has an icon0 and pic0, and must include a splash screen to be provided by PxP. More rules are still being drafted, and PxP should have them all up on the forums shortly.

All entries must be submitted within the next two months as the contest ends on March 17. Time to brush up on your coding skills, guys. If you’ve got any questions, you can either discuss them in our forums, or click the “Read” link below.
