QJ Reader Chunky Mudd Gets His Hands on the Live Vision Camera
We here at QJ value our readers’ responses and tips about almost anything and everything under the Sun. That’s why it’s a pleasant surprise for us when one of our readers, Chunky Mudd, informed us about his newest purchase – the Xbox 360 Camera which he bought at Toys-R-Us– something that we reported earlier. Heres’ what he said:
“Thanks for the tip. I was on your site this morning and I read the rumor about the Xbox 360 camera showing up at Toys-R-Us. So I went to the local Toys-R-Us here in South Miami, Florida and they had a brand new one just waiting for me. It was the last one. I asked the clerk why Toys-R-Us was selling them almost two weeks early (from projected release.) He told me that Microsoft released a limited number for selective sales. I can only assume that it was to start a buzz. So thanks again for the tip.”
No problem, Chunky Mudd! He also mentioned that there are some camera features that weren’t mentioned in our earlier report. He gamely shares that “the camera constantly feeds live (filter effect) images to your “Music Visualization” and “Dashboard”…very trippy!”
