QNAP’s network-attached storage now supports PS3, XBox 360 DLNA
Network-attached storage (NAS) provider QNAP Systems, Inc. has announced that the latest firmware for the All-in-one NAS, TS-109 and TS-209 series will include full support for the DLNA media playing features of both the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 home video game consoles.
With the new firmware, users can automatically share media stored on a QNAP NAS to a PS3 or Xbox 360 in their home network. The firmware bumps the built-in TwonkyMedia up to version 4.4 for increased PS3 and Xbox 360 interoperability.
