Quake III Team Arena hitting Xbox 360s?
No, not Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Now why would the ESRB have a ratings search hit for Quake III Team Arena for the Xbox 360? Even more interesting is its publisher, not Activision (which published the PC Quake III Arena) or id Software, which developed both Quake III Arena and the expansion Quake III Team Arena – which presumably is what this ESRB hit for the 360 refers to.
Pi Studios LLC is currently involved with some work for Mercenaries 2, as well as being partly responsible for Call of Duty 3. So it’s safe to say they’re quite familiar with the shooter business. Also, as COD3 is an Activision title (and Pi also contributed to COD2), it should be safe to say they’re used to working with Activision.
Not enough info to speculate anything substantial for the 360 Quake III Team Arena. Let’s see how Activision or Pi Studios reacts.
