Rainbow Six Vegas: Black Edition uploaded…and removed from XBL
For the guys who own a copy of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas for their Xbox 360, we’ve got good news and bad news. The good news: Ubisoft has just released the game’s Black Edition Player’s Pack. Much like the Red Edition Pack that came before it, Black will feature new goodies that should keep you up and alert for the next few Xbox Live shootouts.
As for the bad news: We’ve just picked up word via Major Nelson that the aforementioned Black Edition pack has pulled off a Sam Fisher – that is – stealthily vanished from the XBL download list without a trace. There hasn’t been any official word on why this happened, although we advise the readers to keep alert in case news on this matter is made known.
Included in Black are 5 new maps; 3 brand-new maps (Red Lotus, Wartown), a redux of Streets, and Presidio from Rainbow Six 3. The download would have cost you about 705.5 MB of HD space, and 800 MS Points.
