Rainbow Six: Vegas patch now out on XBL

Rainbow Six: vegas

Almost a week has passed since we reported about Rainbow Six: Vegaspatch coming soon for players. And from the looks of it, there sure are lots of multiplayer issues that need fixing. Aside from the multiplayer headaches, there were also some people having trouble with voice command on single player when using a wireless headset.

But like a headache which could be remedied by OTC meds (unless it’s a brain tumor or something serious), Rainbow Six’s issues could be simply eradicated with a patch. And that remedy for the game is now out. Ubi_Rickas over at Ubisoft Forums shared that the Patch for Rainbow Six: Vegas has gone live and is now available at XBL.

Aside from the numerous multiplayer issues that were addressed, here are the other stuff that would be fixed.

Single Player

  • Fixed bugs with voice recognition
  • Fixed a bug that made the game crash when killing Dr. Smythe under a specific circumstance.

General

  • Fixed some localization errors in Spanish

There you go! It’s a good thing that the community urgently reported these problems. Aside from that, the Ubisoft dev team also mentioned that this first patch was being worked on a few weeks ago already and that some of the newly-discovered issues may not be addressed right away. But they know about these critical issues and are planning to address them in the coming days.
