Rainbow Six Vegas: PSP and PC packshots
Okay, first off, apologies for the long delay since we last brought you R6-on-the-PSP goodies (it’s been a month!). But see most of the stuff you need to know about the PSP version of Rainbow Six: Vegas (also on PS3, Xbox360, PC) have already been mentioned, and screens are really hard to come by. So hopefully, what we have with us today will make up for the delay.
Ubisoft has just released the official PSP and PC packshots for the Tom Clancy-based game, and I dunno if it’s just me, or does the person on the cover start to look like Tom Hanks if you stare at him long enough? Weird.
Anyway, if you haven’t been reading up on the game, here’s a brief rundown of what’s in store for your handhelds when R6 Vegas hits the shelves:
- Tag-Team Gameplay
- Tactical Observation
- Take Cover
- Tailored Control System
- Unlockable Content
- Terrorist Hunt Mode
- Multiplayer via wireless (Ad- Hoc) or online play (Infrastructure) in Survival and Team Survival multiplayer modes.
As for the PC version, naturally some of the game features are bumped up, especially the multiplayer feature ‘cuz the PC version will let you and 15 others work your way around Sin City and save the unknowing hostages from big-time terrorists.
But like its console brethren, R6 for the PC will also have the following key game features:
- New Leader and Team – Logan Keller (recon expert), Michael Walter (heavy weapons and demolition expert), Jung Park (Long range and electronics specialist)
- Special Order Location
- Observe – Plan – Assault
- Customizable Multiplayer Experience
- Advanced AI
- Real-Time Immersion
And that’s just to name a few. Rainbow Six: Vegas is expected to become available for the PC come November 28, while PSP owners will get their copies on December 5th.
