Rakuten posts page for NEO GEO Stick 2 for the Wii

Want a controller that goes well with all your favorite arcade games on the Wii? Well, we’ve got something that comes extremely close, as Rakuten has posted a new online page for the NEO GEO Stick 2 for the Wii.

According to the info we’ve gathered, the Wii’s NEO GEO Stick 2 will be compatible with all Neo Geo games, including those on the virtual console, and games that make use of the classic controller. Interested in knowing more about it? Follow us after the jump!

Via Arcade Renaissance, we’ve learned that Japanese retailer Rakuten has posted a new online page for the NEO GEO Stick 2 for the Wii. The stick, which is similar to the PS2‘s NEO GEO Stick 2 (pictured right), will retail for 5,040 yen (approx US$ 50).

According to the listing on the Rakuten page, the device will actually allow gamers to play a large number of games. Specifically, the NEO GEO Stick 2 for the Wii is compatible with all Neo Geo games on the Virtual Console, as well as any game that works with the classic controller.

Seeing as we recently found out that SNK Arcade Classics Volume 1 might be coming to the Wii, it seems like a great addition to your gaming peripheral repertoire, especially if the news of SNK Arcade Classics Volume 1 happens to be true.
