Randomizing your icons: random_icons.prx
Here’s a nifty thing we’ve found on our forums: Brethren has released a nifty little prx plugin for your PSP that’ll randomize your icon setup every time you start your Sony handheld or exit a game.
Brethren mentions that random_icons.prx doesn’t do any flashing. As he explains on our forums,
I have 8 topmenus in there named topmenu1.rco to topmenu8.rco, the prx (random_icons.prx) copies one of those at random to ms0:/tm/vsh/resource and renames it topmenu_plugin.rco. So just enabling both prx’s (cxmb.prx and random_icon.prx) will show a different topmenu every time the PSP is started.
Check the included readme for this plugin to find out how to install it and use it. You might just enjoy the added surprise that can come with your new plugin. Just make sure to check with Brethren to see if it works with your installed firmware, alright?
