Rare to be Rare on Revolution

The Game Developer’s Conference has revealed much sought-after information about the Nintendo Revolution Virtual Console. However, not all news has been good news. Although Sega and Hudson are now confirmed to have games downloadable with the Virtual Console service, Rare is not. IGN caught up with a few Rare and Microsoft representatives and it seems that games that Rare owns the rights to will not be seeing the light of day on the Virtual Console. This means that games like Banjo-Kazooie, Conker’s Bad Fur Day, Jet Force Gemini, and Perfect Dark will not be downloadable on Revolution while games like Donkey Kong 64 will.
