Ratchet & Clank Future demo to go live on October 4

Talks about the demo for Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction started brewing a couple of months before. But gaming site IGN is reporting now that this is already a done deal as a demo for the title will indeed be gracing the U.S. PlayStation Network on October 4.

Tools of Destruction is actually the sixth installment in the widely successful Ratchet & Clank franchise. Insomniac Games has added a lot of new features to the PS3 iteration that should leave the game’s great PS2 run a distant, but fond, memory. A lot of new alien races and life forms will be introduced alongside old and recurring characters.

IGN added that one representative from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has confirmed to them as well that the demo for Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction will also go live on the European PSN on October 4 as well.

Lastly, the full retail copy of the title will be released on October 23.
