Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty release date revealed
The excellent Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction by Insomniac Games is about to be supplanted by the latest installment in the series. Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty will drop later this month both as a Blu-ray and as a PSN release. Get ready for pirate-themed laughs and platforming once it hits. More after the jump.
Ahoy! Fans of Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction for the PlayStation 3 will finally get some fresh action as Insomniac reveals just when the new Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty will drop. The devs have confirmed that it will be out for both the PSN and Blu-ray discs later this month.
August 21 marks D-day for Europe and North America, while Japan gets it on the 22nd. All you need to do to get it is to check out the PSN and pay US$ 14.99 and you’re all set. Otherwise, you can check your local retailer’s shelves for the disc copy.
If you haven’t been keeping tabs on this game, it sets Ratchet on a pirate-themed adventure to find his missing partner Clank. Insomniac says the new adventure will be just as triple-A as Tools of Destruction, and will be heavy on platforming and exploration. More updates to come.
