Rayman Rabbids NOT Exclusive to Wii Until May
Previously we reported on a rumour about Rayman Raving Rabbids being exclusive to the Wii until May 2007. It seemed likely, but it’s not happening. Although the game is being built with the Wii as the lead development system, the other consoles will also be getting this title. Ubisoft says Rayman Raving Rabbids will hit all platforms by the end of 2006. That means that the DS, GBA, PC, PS2, 360, and Wii will all see the game this year.
Exactly how the game will play and look off the Wii is still unknown. Everything we’ve learned thus far has been about the Wii version of the game. The 360, PC and PS2 versions might just feature more platforming elements than the Wii version for example. Also, the GBA and DS titles are likely going to be 2D platformers based on the original Rayman.
