RCO Editor v1.11
Yeah, we’ve been giving you a barrage of XMB icon edits nowadays – but you may ask how did they come about? Well, the answer to that is ZiNgaBuRgA. He is the creator of the RCO Icon Editor for the PSP, and now he has updated his creation to v1.11.
You may know about editing the topmenu_plugin.rco to give you custom XMB icons, but did you know that other RCOs also contain icons? Worry no more because this app aims to be a generic RCO editor. Anyhow, before we go about the red-laden warnings, let’s tackle the changelog first.
Changelog for RCO Editor v1.11:
- Fixed yet some more bugs, lol.
- Added a Replace Multiple resources function (for MIG/VAG/OMG resources)
- Many bugs fixed with VAG replacing
- Now handles multiple channel (stereo) VAGs properly – you can also make stereo sounds too 🙂
Now for the reminders. The dev mentions that this has only been tested on 3.03 OE-C and 3.10 OE. But, he believes it should work on all 2.71 SE and 3.0x OE. As for 3.10 OE users, customized topmenu_plugin.rco files won’t work, but it seems that customizing other RCOs still works.
The next thing for you to do is read the readme file that comes with the download. ZiNgaBuRgA dished out a very detailed readme file so as you’d be adequately informed about the app. Now that that’s over, get the file through our download link below.
