RE5: Alternative Edition’s other scenario is “Desperate Escape”?
Two new scenarios, a souped-up new Mercenaries, additional costumes, extra figures for the Library – that’s what’s coming for Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition. Most of those have already been specified, trailerized, or screenshot-ized, but one of the two scenarios was always listed as TBA – not anymore. If the BBFC has it right, the second scenario is called “Desperate Escape.”

Makes you wonder why Capcom had to go all TBA with the name if they’ve submitted it to the BBFC already. Maybe there’s more to this second scenario than Lost in Nightmares? It’s notable, however, that the BBFC may not have the exact details, so maybe the name isn’t final just yet. So what’s in a name? We’ll know once Capcom drops the bomb.
Resident Evil Alternative Edition launches March 9th 2010 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
