RealTime Worlds already thinking about Crackdown 2
Even though Crackdown is just hot off the drawing board, developer RealTime Worlds is already working out some ideas for the game’s sequel.
Senior designer Stephen Iannetta recently said to CVG that he would love to make a sequel to the open-ended 360 title and take the concept forward. Iannetta confided that while he thinks RealTime Worlds has already created a pretty convincing game world, he’d like to create a “more believable, functioning city” in the future. “I think if there’s one thing we can learn from making Crackdown it’s that it’s the city that makes the fun.”
Iannetta also mentioned giving players even more options on how to approach and complete a given mission. “I think again it comes to how you can really choose how you approach the missions, and I’d really like to turn the contrast up on that,” he said.
What about you guys? What would you like to see in a Crackdown sequel (I”m waiting for the first guy to say “Halo 4 beta!“)? Leave a comment below and let us know.
