Red Alert 3 Beta officially launched
But here’s the deal: if you haven’t received an email from Electronic Arts, you’re not going in yet. Sounds like being told that there’s a secret recess and you can’t have it, doesn’t it? Well find out if you’re ever going to get to participate in the public Beta of Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 after you’ve lazed your eyes over the full story.
Electronic Arts put it in ink: the Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 multiplayer Beta has officially launched, and the first batch have been given their golden tickets via electronic correspondence. So everyone who’s purchased Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath and registered their beta keys with EA might want to look into their inboxes and check if they’ve got their passport.
Unlike popular belief, Red Alert 3 may have a public multiplayer Beta, but it still is a privilege to a few. Obviously, everyone will want to join in the testing, but as with all Betas, there’s a batch mechanic that’s being followed. And if you haven’t registered early enough, you won’t be included into the first few.
However, as the last Battlecast episode revealed, EA has placed a deadline on the beta registration. The window is open from anytime now to September 15, and if you do make your mark within the period, you’re sure to be in the Beta. It’s just a matter of when you’ll be able to join that might make some C&C fans unhappy. More updates as we get them.
