Red Faction: Guerilla seeked help from Sony in Xbox 360 version
The making of the Red Faction: Guerilla (Xbox 360, PS3) into an Xbox 360 video game was made with the help of Sony because of the difference between the mentioned console with PS3.
Red Faction: Guerilla (Xbox 360, PS3) was not an easy task, admitted Associate Producer Sean Kennedy and they needed extra help to bring the game to PS3 version from the Xbox 360 version.
One of the problems is the small memory on PS3 caused a problem to them and he said:
I mean, not only has it been a balancing act making destruction work with the gameplay and making it all come together in a cohesive way that’s fun but it’s been a balancing act getting the game to run on the systems.
With PS3, they worked with less memory so they hired someone from Sony to help them make their PS3 version and they made both versions have the collector’s edition. The game isn’t due for release until February but there is a demo available in late January.
