Red Steel boxart? Fool me twice…
Does that look like the potential box art for Wii’s Red Steel game to you? We just got another email tip from Jazzyx about this kind of box art for the game, and while it looks nice, we’re a little skeptical.
After the whole fiasco with the Sonic game package and subsequently finding out we got Hitched, we’d prefer to be sure by actually having more than just us supporting this. So far, the only other place this picture has popped up is on Wikipedia, and while Wikipedia is a great place for information, it’s far from being perfect and free from bias or hoaxes. Now, no searches have really turned up this version of Ubisoft‘s box art for the game, so we remain speculative.
HOWEVER. If you combine two pictures together, you do happen to get the above result:
That being said, you never know if the picture at the top could actually be the Wii box art. It’s a nice combination of old and new though, and it’s nice to look at stylistically. We’ll let you know just how authentic this is once someone shows up with the final box covers for the game for all applicable countries. Till then, we’d appreciate it if someone could sharpen his swords and hunt down the truth of the matter for us as well.
