Reginald Fils-Aime will be present at the November 18 Toys “R” Us Times Square Launch Party. We’ve already told you about the one in LA, so you guys know what to expect.
Instead of just long lines and poor china men trying to buy consoles to resell for a higher price online, there will be music, an entertainment center, games, interactive game play, a live performance by DJ Ravidrums, a countdown clock, the works.
Yep, New Yorkers know how to party.
The festivities will begin at 8 p.m. Lines should be forming way before that time as what people should expect. Obviously the store will remain open past the midnight mark to accommodate shoppers. We find it amusing that due to the reported millions of units that will be available on launch, the mood is more festive than desperate. Well, the Wii is about fun…
