Report: Crysis 2 CE comes with a nanosuit backpack, is expensive

It looks like Crytek’s also releasing a collector’s edition of Crysis 2. If that’s something you’d like to get your hands on, better save up. A Swedish retailer has reportedly priced it at around US$ 200.

It looks like Crytek’s also releasing a collector’s edition of Crysis 2. If that’s something you’d like to get your hands on, better save up. Swedish retailer Webhallen has reportedly priced it at around US$ 200.

Why the price? For starters, it comes with a fancy nanosuit-like backpack that measures 46cm x 34cm (18 inches by 13 inches). It also includes a 7.9 inch-long Prophet statue, a 176-page art book, a SCAR hologram, a Waffenskin SCAR – Camouflage, access to higher ranks and unlockable items, and a special steelbook case.

Images of the CE have been taken down but not before a few copies got downloaded. There are still CE listings on Webhallen but the prices are different: 999kr (US$ 120) for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions and 899kr for the PC version (US$ 133).
