Resident Evil 5 Announced

July 19, 2005 – The latest issue of Famitsu features a first look at the next entry in the series that brought survival horror back to the gaming spotlight nearly ten years ago. Capcom will be bringing Resident Evil 5 to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the magazine reveals. The game will apparently follow along the lines of Resident Evil 4 and is being produced by series veteran Jun Takeuchi.
We expect to have further details shortly. Resident Evil 5 is, as one should expect, currently without a release date
