Resident Evil 5: Director’s Cut to have new playable sequence, first footage
We know that Resident Evil 5: Director’s Cut is getting support for Sony‘s motion controller, but is that the only thing new? Apparently not.
We know that Resident Evil 5: Director’s Cut is getting support for Sony‘s motion controller, but is that the only thing new? Apparently not. Dengeki Online reports that an extra sequence has been added as well. A flashback scene in Resident Evil 5 (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) that takes place in the original mansion will now be playable.
This is good news all around, but most especially to Xbox 360 and PC owners. With Natal specifics still under wraps, it’s good to know that even though motion controls may be out, there’s still something new there for gamers to enjoy.
Resident Evil 5: Director’s Cut is slated for a Spring 2010 release. In the meantime, here’s some shaky cam footage from the game’s Japanese release courtesy of fansite Biohaze:
