Yes, yes, I know it's old but here me out for a bit. Remember the very first TGS 2008 trailer that we posted for Resident Evil 5? This one's different. Isaac posted this same vid before, but that was bootleg off-cam footage. Nice to finally see this one get a crisper version. Also, given the couple few interesting bits of information we've heard recently, seeing this video once again brings up a lot of interesting things... Not to mention ominous tombstones, cheesy lines, and tentacle bosses. Yes, there are two tentacle bosses, actually.Yes, yes, I know it's old but here me out for a bit. Also, given the couple few interesting bits of information we've heard recently, seeing this video again brings up a lot of familiar elements. Of course, aside from the big shocker of Jill Valentine's tombstone, other things to note in the trailer:
- the Tyrant-in-training tentacle boss
- more cheesy quotable quotes from a teleporting Albert Wesker ("Time to die, Chris!")
- the zombie butcher's M-rating
- the huge zombie kraken that gives tentacle boss a run for its money
- a mysterious bed of flowers - presumably used for *ahem* pharmaceutical purposes
Capcom's Resident Evil 5 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 is to be released on March 13.
