Capcom has sent QJ.NET a press wire proudly announcing that Nintendo Wii exclusive Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles has finally broken the one million total units sold mark for the whole world.
The Umbrella Chronicles holds a very special place in the Resident Evil franchise as it is the game that explains why the corporation really fell. It also gives players a glimpse of what really happened during those dark times.
Quite interestingly though, the press wire sent to us by Capcom included the following statements about Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles:
As always, we at Capcom will continue to strive to develop new and original games that appeal to a broad audience around the world while expanding our properties for single content multiple usage.
We believe that by bringing this to multiple platforms, it will help the franchise reach an even greater number of users eager for its unique game play.
One has to wonder what the statement “bringing this to multiple platforms” exactly means. While Capcom has yet to reveal other details about this, we should just enjoy the success the game is currently enjoying.
